She said Yes and They’re engaged – it is time for another wedding…

Monday evening, our youngest daughter said yes to marrying her long time boyfriend Nic.  It has been pure pleasure to be part of Nic and Audrianna’s  relationship over the years (they have been dating for 4 1/2 years).  They are a fun couple, who are equally talented and most importantly they love the Lord and are looking forward to serving Him through ministry. 

For the third time in the last several years, Bill and I are thanking God for bringing these two together.  As I have written before, we have been praying a Christian husband for Audrianna since she was born.  We are humbled that God would bless our family in this way.

A June 2012 wedding is in the planning and in keeping with the Joseph tradition, the talking about plans and dreaming of the special day has already began.

The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

They’re Engaged!!

Last Wednesday, Saint Patrick’s Day, our oldest daughter, Alycia said YES to marrying Jason.  She started her day in Florida with her Grandparents and me, arrived in Pittsburgh in time to have lunch with her Daddy and by that evening, she had a fiance and a beautiful engagement ring on her finger.

Once again, Bill and I are so blessed by God bringing Jason into Alycia’s life.  I told him the evening that they called, that Bill and I had been praying for him since before Alycia was born.  It is fun to watch how God has worked in both of their lives to draw them together.  God is so faithful!

It would appear that another wedding is going to be scheduled for September.  So many good things continue to happen in our lives – weddings, grandson (soon to be born), college freshman, empty nest, turning 50 –  WOW!

They are engaged…

This past weekend, our middle daughter Laryssa received a marriage proposal from Josiah — She said YES!! 

Bill and I have prayed for this young man from the time that we knew Laryssa was on the way.  We praise God for His answer to our prayers.  Josiah is a strong believer who strives to follow after the Lord — both Bill and I are in full assurance that this is God’s plan and we are excited for their future.

 

Wedding plans are waiting on several timing issues that need to be worked out. 

 Guess this means I am going to be the Mother of the Bride !!!
