Yesterday, Audrianna (my youngest daughter) pass her test to receive her driver’s license. That is such an accomplishment for a 16 1/2 year old - but another loss for a Mom. That time you spend driving your child (or children) to and from different activities - like lessons, practice, church activities and more - is [...]

Today my youngest daughter, Audrianna started her senior year of High School. It was the beginning of the end — we took the traditional first day of school photos for the last time and then I drove her to school (problems with the school bus transporation that are still being worked out!)
Nineteen year ago, my [...]

My middle daughter has a friend, Bailee, who has been in her life since middle school (and a friendship that survives Middle School through college is rare). When they were first starting to be friends, they decided that their Moms should be friends as well. So they took their Moms out to ice cream [...]

This year, we spent the entire afternoon around one of my friend’s pool that we had to ourselves. We talked as a group and to [...]

The other day, my oldest daughter asked me when I was going to have a guest contributor to my blog — I guess she is ready to read someone else’s thoughts other than mine . That same day, CrossWalk emailed me a link to this article which I thought was excellence for Moms (and daughters) to read. [...]

Last Friday evening Bill, Audrianna and I attended a very special restaurant named “A.K.Dive”. I had just flown in from Orlando (where I had been at the International Christian Retailing Show and visiting my parents). Bill picked me up from the airport and after a quick trip home, we went to “A.K. Dive”. Please allow [...]
