I am a humble receiver of the saving grace that Christ provided to me through his death and resurrection. My calling is as a wife to Bill, my husband of 27 years, a mother to 3 incredible daughters – Alycia, Laryssa and Audrianna and to encourage others to remember God’s faithfulness in their lives by Recognizing God’s work in their life, Recording that memory and then Remembering God’s amazing faithfulness – especially when the hard times come. One of my ministry passions is MOPS – Mothers of Preschoolers; I have been a MOPS Mentor for 7 years and I love this group of women!
In my past, I have written numerous books and articles. I co-founded Reminders of Faith, and was part of the Scrapbooking industry in it’s infancy by working with a national scrapbook convention and association. Currently I continue to have the privilege to speak to women’s groups throughout the United States.
In my life, I long to bring glory to my Lord and Savior and to do His work. “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. Ephesians 2:10
God is faithful!

Sandy, you have been such an inspiration to me. Your faith in our Lord, and how your faith shows in your daily life is wonderful to see and be a part of. I look forward to reading your blog on a regular basis, making it a part of my ‘start my day’ routine. God bless you, Sandy. Jan
Hi,
I found your post about JCPenney’s ad Only Gold Demands Worship. That bothered me, too. and I blogged about it also. I’m very surprised that it did not bother more people. I google it from time to time to see if others were upset. Not many. I’m happy to meet somebody who feels like me about it.

I love your site. Keep it up !
Sandra,
Hope you are well. The reason why I am reaching out to you is because
friends of ours at the National Fatherhood Initiative have completed a
landmark study (through the University of Texas) about mothers’ attitudes
toward fatherhood. National TV networks have contacted the NFI and are
searching for compelling stories to build a show around the study. They are
interested in mothers who want to convey how great their father/husband is
because of their commitment to their children (the importance of having an
active, engaged, and present father), and also compelling stories from
mothers who desperately believe their family needs a father/dad to be more
active and present. From our perspective, we think this is a tremendous
opportunity to have some of your readers share their story.
Anyone who is interested in sharing their stories can submit these at the
following site: http://apply.fatherhood.org/mamasays/
The following is a link to the study and below is a list of some of the
findings: http://www.fatherhood.org/mamasays/findings.asp

Dear Sandy,
Great with your work. May I know if your are the Sandy Rimer who once attended St Olaf College in the late 60′s in Wisconsin?
I will pause for the reply.
I live in Ghana and I saw you in the Facebook.
Thanks
Hubert
Sorry that is not me.

From one Mentor Mom to another, MOPS is my passion too! God has fulfilled for me a dream not realized when I was in college — that of serving other people through social work or something similar. I made the choice to marry young, drop out of college, support my husband through college, have a son, and ultimately go through a divorce. Those dreams never came to fruition UNTIL my current church home started a MOPS group. A couple of years in the moms decided they wanted mentors. At that time I was still working fulltime, but just as soon as I retired I was approached again and I accepted God’s calling to minister in this way. This year I am the team leader for six mentor moms and am also assisting in training with our DGLs and MMs. I am having fun!
Love your blog — keep it coming. Also enjoyed Jill Savage’s today with your guest post.
I’ve started a blog of my own called Sometimes Reflections at http://www.sometimesreflections.blogspot.com. I’m hoping to keep it going (it’s all of a week or so old) and reach someone. We’ll see what God has in store.
I too am a mentor mom at MOPS. What a blessing it is for me to share with these young moms the truth from God’s word and to encourage them! But they help keep young! Just curious, how do you decide the theme for your devotions. Is there certain topics you try to cover? Thanks for your help. Enjoyed your blog! Blessings as you continue to be a blessing! http://www.frontporchdevotions.wordpress.com
Hi, I’m form Argentina, I have no idea how I got here but is awsome what you’re doing… just wanted to say that. God bless you!
