A Passion to Pray Book and Prayer Plannizer Giveaway

Recently, I had the privilege of ministering with my dear friend, Merry of A Passion to Pray and she provided me with a give away for my blog friends. She co-complied this wonderful book of over 2000 Scriptures about 200 topics that include:

anger
depression
children
forgiveness
finances
stress
marriage
purpose and 192 other topics.

I have given this book as a gift many times and people always comment on how helpful it is. Several great stories about this book, include when I gave it to a MOPS Mom who was a new believer and was serving on MOPS Hospitality. She needed to find a verse for every meeting and did not know the Bible very well — so this book was a huge help to her (before receiving the book, she would email me before every meeting, looking for a verse — after the book… no more emails ). I also gave this book to a Mom whose young son had to go into the hospital for surgery and she was worried and overwhelmed. This book helped her find scriptures to read in an easy manner. Scriptures at Your Fingertips is a great resource for everyone!

Along with the book, I also have A Passion to Pray Prayer Plannerizer to give away. The Plannizer is a 3-ring binder that is part organizer, part journal, part photo album that helps you visually chronicle your prayers, your prayer life to grow and helps you leave a prayer legacy. When I read this story, I sent Merry an email stating that this woman needed a Prayer Plannerizer!

Hi Sandy. Here is my answer. It’s a wonderful verse and one I should use often!! Thank you for keeping me in your emails. Even though I’m not a part of that MOPS anymore, it makes me feel connected! I miss everyone SO much.

Philippians 4:17.

I think we should be reminded of this verse daily! These are anxious times in our world. This helps us to remember that God knows the future and that he wants us to talk with him about our anxieties and fears. I think of you often.

I attended “A Passion to Pray” workshop when Sandy organized it for our church…it was an awesome workshop and there are tips I learned about prayer there that I still recall.

The Plannerizer is really cool too…have not tackled that project yet though…maybe when all the kids are in school.

I also use the Fingertip Scripture book…it is great when you need to send a verse to someone via email.

Oh, how our family needs to put this verse and all those on the site into action. My niece’s 40 year old husband was told yesterday that he has an inoperable brain tumor. He is booked for an MRI in two days time to see if any treatment is possible. He is a follower of Jesus Christ and loves his Lord.

Please join us in lifting Dwayne, Sandra and family to the throne.
