In the middle of the MOPS Picnic, my middle daughter Laryssa came home from her 10 week internship in Texas. It felt so good to hug her and have her home. Thanks to Alycia for driving to the airport to pick her up!! In case you’re wondering why the MOPS Picnic was planned for the time Laryssa was coming home; orginally it wasn’t. She wasn’t sure when she might be coming home, so we planned this event before her plans were solidly set. (yes, I am trying to make up for some Mother guilt here
)
Just Home…

Enjoying a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake (a family favorite) after the picnic.
Welcome Home My Dear Daughter – I missed you so much and am so glad that you are back!! I am so proud at how God used you and taught you this summer as you served Him by serving children. My prayers have been answered as you sleep in your own bed under our roof tonight. I am looking forward to having you home the next several weeks!
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 4
